Cavourese S.p.A. was founded in Cavour (TO) on 14th December 1945 with notary Giolitti's deed. It was born with only one bus of its ownership, model FIAT 626 with 30 seats, and only one driver working on the local line Cavour- Pinerolo.

During the years the Company has come on a lot getting several small carriers; consequently it has enlarged its number of vehicles and the typologies of the offered services. Little by little the number of the operating bus lines has increased, the first services of workmen transport have been effected and we have begun to supply the towns of the Provinces of Turin and Cuneo with the school-bus service. In the meanwhile the Company has arranged to develop the branch regarding the renting services with driver through buses, minibuses and cars, and, today, it has a remarkable experience either in the national and international sphere.

The numerous vehicles at disposal of the clients ranging from 5 to 79 seats offers the possibily to meet a wide range of transport requests with high quality standards.

With the aim to offer a complete service of hotel bookings, refreshments points, museum tickets, guided visits of the towns of art and all what is necessary for a travel, during the nineties the Travel Agency VALLEPO Viaggi e Turismo (recently became Extraservice Viaggi) with its legal seat in Cavour - Via Pinerolo n. 71. was founded, for willingness of the founders of Cavourese.

In 2000, in order to guarantee high quality standards, Cavourese submitted to verification its own management system and it got the Quality System Certificate from the Cermet of Bologna.
In the following year it absorbed, through fusion for merger, Sdav S.r.l. of Luserna San Giovanni and Eurobus S.r.l. of Turin and it extended the System of Management for the Quality to the new sites by adjusting it to the directive UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.

After such a merger, Cavourese is today so structured:

• 10135 TORINO – Strada del Drosso n. 77: registered office with commercial office detachment, movement office detachment, deposit/depot, washing and filling station;
• 10061 CAVOUR (TO) – Via Pinerolo n. 73: administrative management with company management, operating management, movement office, commercial office, accounting department, staff department, secretary’s office, deposit/depot, filling station;
• 10061 CAVOUR (TO) – Via Antica di Pinerolo n. 63: operating seat with offices, garage, deposit/depot, washing, spare part warehouse, tyre warehouse, filling station;
• 10060 OSASCO (TO) – Via Pinerolo n. 29: deposit/depot;
• 10062 LUSERNA SAN GIOVANNI (TO) – Via Roma n. 85: deposit/depot.

During 2003 it developed the Environment Management System according to the rule UNI EN ISO 14001:1996 by getting the Certification.
